Hi,

Orange/black Jawbone. Looks real as far as I can see. Few strange things however:
- Full orange nosebombs. Has anybody ever seen these before?
- No visible O's embossed in outer ends of jaws, but that could be the light in combination with the matte black.
- no original color combo, but that's shouldn't be a problem.
- no serial number, but that shouldn't be a problem.

What would you say?

just this one from the front. Advertised as new, without vault.

Thanks for helping. :)

Parts appear to be legit, it just looks like it has been resprayed orange which would explain the colored nosebombs. I've only seen white and black Jawbone/Racing Jacket nosebombs.

The ‘O’s on the jaws are always my main focus when I am in doubt for jawbones. Never saw orange nosepads either.
Tricky ☝️

Thanks @pjd1234 for the mention.

If I had to choose only one response, I’d say fake.

Colour doesn’t look standard to me, but I don’t own an atomic pair.

Even if repainted, you should still be able to see the O on the inner lpart of the jaw.

The ear rubbers are ill fitting which is a sign of fakes.

There is no serial number on the arm. But it could be a one off.

Also, the “nubbin” on the nosebomb is too long compared to normal Asia fit.

The fact that the nosebombs are Asia fit isn’t definitive, but makes me suspicious that they are Chinese knock offs.

Apart from that, it seems like a good copy. The lens is cut well. Usually the notches in the lens are the wrong shape and the bolts look different.

I’d ask for clearer pics of the inside jaw which should have the “O”. Also ask the history. If they say, “I bought it from a shop”, it’s 100% fake. If he says it was a one off from an employee, then the chance it’s a fake is still high, but I wouldn’t be able to rule it out without having it in my hand to check hinge movement etc.
