Painting Inside Of O On Flak Jackets?

I have a pair of flak jackets I love. My only issue is the inside of the O is white. It makes everything look weird. Whats best way to take care if this?

remove the icons and paint it,.... or is the center bit part of the icon too?

Its part of the icon. I used black fingernail polish for the time being. It looks ok and I can always take it off with finger nail polish remover. My frame is grey smoke and the middle of the icons were white.

yeah thats ugly.. what color is the icon? one way is to strip the whole icon, paint the whole icon in the midle color, then paint the O back on..

I k ow its not the beat it could he's but I would have to send it to someone to paint it as I don't currently have equiptment. BTW the icons were silver with white centers. I would be fine with both being black or grey and black
