sad to say, i have seen some dudes in M'sia copying the Petterson designs. bummer. nonetheless. still can't beat the real deal. =)

I sourced out 3 pairs at different stores when they first hit (which was quite a bit of fun by itself!). Those were #9,13,36. One was passed on to an o-r fellow in UK. The other 2 stayed with me for quite some time. Around this summer, I just couldn't stomach sitting on some of the froggies that I had - so I decided to sell off some of the crazy in demand pairs and just keep the wearers on hand. I didn't really feel comfy snagging a froggie to wear for the day that might be valued $700-1500+. Just crazy. I am continually in awe of how much demand is generated by the lovers of Frogskins (same goes for xmetals). When I heard talk of Frogskins being the holiday release this year, I pretty much expected the froggie market to collapse quite a bit in 2012 ... time will tell.

No doubt, though, that the Petterson idea (50 unique designs) was just amazing and fun - no matter what frame it was done on.
