Which one do you prefer and why?

I like both! They have pretty much the same view when looking through, a slight grey blue hue. Both look awesome from the outside. So it's a toss up for me.

But what are they like in the sun?

They're nice and dark, polarization seems good,bevels are top notch.im not gonna say they are as good as OEM.but the color is as good as fist gen Ruby.

I think ikon has it down as good as any other aftermarket brand.and they are inexpensive.

Personally I like the Positive Red, but they are too light for extreme sun. So I guess the vote goes to ruby.
