Question about temple screw

Below is the picture of temple screw from my juliet that recently i bought I didn’t realise it was a thing untill i go through “stripped screw” thread. So picture showing that previous owner tightened hard untill the screw turn like that? If yes.. since tightened too tight is it gonna effect thread inside temple frame?

Compare to my other xmetal, juliet temple left and right had abit more tightness and need more force to open.

Most likely someone used a cheap T6 screwdriver and with some hinge washer missing over tightened the screw and damaged the head.

Most likely not.
The chance to remove this Screw with a very good T6 is good. I have seen worse.

I was thinking since im gonna send my juliet to linegear for service. I want to order t6 driver from them so they can send back together. Did you use their t6 driver before?

No I have not used their T6.
