Sorry Brian, for my impertinent respose. You are correct, there was only one Crystal Red pair made. Excluding the collaboration Supremes. I haven't realy noticed they were the only set made, until now.

No Brian, if you think about the Supremes as being 2nd gen....

I've never heard of the supremes being seen as gen 2. Just the beginning of gen 3. Only cuz it was the start of it all.

I meant Gen 3 Frogs but 2nd Gen Crystal Reds...…….of sorts.

One thing I didn't know about were the VR46 Mettalic Black / Ruby Polarised......

I just bought a pair myself and posted a picture. As

anyone have good pics ? When I do a google search, they all look different . Did the coloring/mirror change over the years on this lens ? The more recent ‘Team USA’ ones appear VERY blue, while some other ones I’ve seen are almost purple/pinkish red mix..

I just bought a pair crystal black frogs with +red and as you say, they appear to be mostly blue. I have posted a picture.

Yea looking straight at it, it will be blue, you have too turn it on an angle to see red
