Hi

I’ve bought a couple of pairs of these Sutro’s as it’s the only way to get Fog parts

Does anyone have any experience if you can get the paint layers off at the tips and if the fog is underneath?

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Kind of hoped it might have been some kind of dip etc that might come off with some heat

I wouldn't trust heat, likely the paint is too thin and the o-matter is not going to like it very well. I can't recall if the sutro used any of the recycled materials, and that likely will be worse under heat strong enough to allow the paint to release.

Yeah I didn't think it would be the greatest idea. I went into Oakley HQ yesterday and they also said try acetone etc very lightly. I didn't realise that the arms are actually fog coloured plastic, I thought they too were painted!
