Romeo 1 vs Half-X ear socks comparison

From talking to an Oakley rep at customer service they said the Romeo 1 ear socks may be a suitable donor for a half-x ear sock. For someone out there that has both frames, could you compare the 2 and see if they are similar? Pictures would be appreciated very much!

By the "book", they are not interchangeable. See this listing:

Whether they can be made to work, I'd have to get home first to where my stuff is.

They may be a suitable donor, but they are fairly different looking. I don't have either with me, but Half-x earsocks have a flared tip on them (like the original Half-wire) while the R1 earsock is shaped like most of the other x-metals.

I checked and it's not going to work. The Half-X ear sock is longer and a different shape.

I did slide a Juliet onto it recently, definately wasn't perfect but it should function to at least wear them if they become too unbearable.
