I think a 3D printer with make it look kind of crappy unless you do a lot of sanding

no way would I glue these to my frames so would have to be easy one an off to allow lens changes an if not wanted on for the day.

I agree. They would have to be made of some type of easy bendable silicone or breathable stuff being so close to the face to prevent sweat an fogging
