Maybe a stupid question, but are you limited in the colors available due to solution, etc?

It actually just limited to the colors that titanium will change. It is not like aluminum anodizing that uses dyes. Titanium has an oxide layer and depending on the thickness of that layer that is what gives you the colors.

Interesting. I have a pair of crosshairs that are a little too garish for my drab sensibilities. They fit and I love the lenses. Chrome with vr28 black iridium. I am wondering what methods are available to "de-chromify" them.

Hhhmmmm, I like the idea, but I think if the purple was matte, I think it would be better...

Or if the XMetal part was shiny...

When I first saw it I was like "shiny, oh wait, matte"...

It bothers me hahaha !!!

The purple is halfway between polished and matte. Sort of plasma. But yes I was thinking a little duller in the finish may look better as well.

Make the XMetal like a shiny grey and it will be amazing !!!
