I vote for the left. Doesn't take too much away from the face but you can tell it's still there. Great work!

Yep the left one is my preference as well. The pattern stands out more in person. Im not so good with the photography yet.

I finally remembered to take pics of something before I fixed it. Tb1 for myself. Bad capacitor short on links, crystal was trashed and band was beat to hell. Looks. Like whoever had it before was a welder because there was welding pits in the crystal and actually had some splatter beads on the case and crystal. Refinished to bone plasma. Just need to get a couple of the rubber pads for the inside to finish it up.
