Somebody tell me the Redux is ugly!

How do they size up against the Redux? Are they larger?

The Redux has a much more bug eyed look, orbitals are definitely larger especially with the way the nose bridge is, sorta boxy

Sorry, but I consider them to be butt ugly, in comparison too the initial pairs and the later 1999 versions.

Sorry, but I consider them a travesty! The beautiful lines and curves of the original, have beeb sullied. The elegance of form has been run assunder.

That would mean the normal EJs would be even smaller on my face. Sucks!

Much as I'd love to have the original, I have to let it pass. It's unavailable in stores where I am, so I'd need to import one without a try and I'd hate it to be a shelf queen if it doesn't fit my melon

my first one a couple of weeks ago and I am pretty confused on this one. The Black/Prizm Grey is boring. It looks too small on my head. The wifey thinks it looks like kiddo glasses or swimming goggles when seen upfront. Yet, it has become my go-to glasses. I find myself reaching out for the redux every time I am looking for a pair. I can't quite put a finger on exactly what tugs at my strings with this one.
Interestingly, I haven't seen much of the Redux on the WOAYWT thread with the exception of @Dullisc who frequently sports the Redux and actually looks pretty rad with them!

What do you peeps feel? I am almost on the fence about ordering a second pair, a Silver one.

I completely agree. I truly wanted the original but didn’t want to pay an insane price for them, so I reluctantly got the redux. I can’t put my finger on it either, but I have a number of sunglasses and I end up reaching for these everytime. I think what I like most about them is they are truly wrap around on my face and block out all light from the sides that comes in from most other sunglasses. Plus, there is some type of beauty in the ugliness. I highly recommend picking up the silver pair as well. I ended up putting aftermarket silver mirrored lenses in my black ones. I’m definitely going to post in the next WOAYWT.

Damn! The original is next level. If I can ever find them for a decent price I’m jumping at them.
