Well generally I dont believe this marketing stuff either.

But try to see it form the other side. Do you really think it sells that well??? It raised some excitment here on the forums, but honestly at best we are talking about 30 pairs sold to the people here.
Which makes 910 pairs still available for the general public that’s for sure less responsive for such a frame
Be realistic the design is way too special for most of the people and the price tag is quite steep.
Honestly I do think selling 1000s of it is not an easy task.

I wouldn’t take it for free..but that’s another story, everyone his own.

Yeah, and you also have to figure in the scalpers who buy a bunch of extras to corner the market on ebay and make things sellout quickly. They hear limited edition and immediately put 50 in their cart. —Is Oakley finally turning off the scalpers? God I hope so. I hope their time is coming to an end.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. This one particular, I can't see many normal people spending $250+ on something that would be super awkward to wear. That and the fact that they are online only so you can't try them on.
