I may be getting Sunday afternoon punch drunk…and I thought I better move this to my own “Mad Labs” thread before I got reported and banned on WOAYWT but in honor of my “Fellow Lopaka” @Lopaka KaMars (who has no fur in Hawaii) I am likely to have to cutout and attempt a fur Crater wrapping…and yes…I have more than enough for to do this

Soooo…what’s the consensus for the perfectly wrapped Crater? Brunette or Blonde? Sorry gents…no red at hand.

Just in…a great Olive Drab colored piece of cowhide…but probably too thick. Leaning towards a light green, nice and thin stingray hide, and painting it the appropriate color of OD!

So these are my Olive Drab options for the Mars Standard…thinnest to thickest:

- Snakeskin which requires dye or paint
- Stingray hide while light green will also require dye or paint
- Kid skin veg-tanned also paint or dye
…and the thickest and outsiders:
- Tilapia which is too bright and needs paint or dye
- Cowhide which is a great color but too thick

Sheesh…I sound like the baby bear in Goldilocks. Not happy about anything
