Suggestions on wrap around polarized Oakley sunglasses

I am looking for a couple pairs of sunglasses but focusing on one pair for sure. The first pair is to replace my long time Oakley Flak XLJ polarized. I would like to get new lenses for them for a second pair but the new polarized lenses are cost prohibitive at the prices I have found from reputable sources. Like others I am trying to navigate the fake ones.

I would like more coverage on the sides and near cheek than the Flak lines, and stay light, with retention when moving around bending over etc.. Peripheral vision is important. I have looked at other brands but keep coming back to Oakleys, their frames seem to be made to fit my needs.

A pair of polarized Flak 2.0 and/or Oakley Men's Radar EV Path Rectangular Matte Black/Prizm Black Polarized are what I am looking at now but not sold on them. I would like a frame less wrap around with round edges and not the cyclist aero/speed look. I do like the idea of the venting.

Open to suggestions and learning anything I have missed.

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The straightlinks and Fuelcell peripheral vision with the thick solid side frames do not look like they are what I am looking for, hard to tell without in hand. They do look much more robust. I tend to like the frameless bottoms at least for less weight and clearer vision.

Yeah I wondered if that would be a fit or not. The EV zeros are probably your best bet for now. There are a couple new frames called the Kato and the Encoder coming out in the next couple months that might be a great fit as well (no pun intended 😀).

Go try on a Flak 2.0 XL with Prism Polarized Black Iridium lenses. They are awesome.

If you’re looking for a current model so you have more options for lenses and replacement parts, either a flak 2.0 or half jacket 2.0 would prob be your best bet. They’re also a similar fit to the flak you mentioned.

I am looking for more eye coverage, especially the peripheral wrap around. I would also like non mirror/reflective lenses. But hard to shy away from what I have worn for so long. Driving wife crazy looking for month's now....LOL
