This is a fan project, not anything official. Albeit a very impressive one.
Ok. Played an two hours of FF16. There’s some homages to Lord of the Rings when those Summons start fighting. It’s also got some homages to Game of Thrones. Great so far and enjoying the battles.

Sucks they are blocking it on PS, but sucks I haven’t been able to play any Gods of War cause they blocked it on Xbox.
Get the PC version, better mods and community support
Ever since Obsidian left Bethesda after Fallout New Vegas released in 2010 the quality of written/spoken dialogue and overall story in their games has taken a nosedive off a cliff (the microsoft aquisition doesn't help either). That explains why Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 are left feeling so shallow and lifeless compared to previous titles, im very sceptical about Starfield...i want it to be good but their recent track record doesn't leave much to be desired. I hope they turn it around and this game ends up kicking ass.
Oh yeah, Obsidian’s depth of story, choice, and speech options was next level for sure.
I however felt a lot of the new mechanics introduced in Fallout 4 helped that game a lot. I enjoyed 4 quite a bit, I mostly only played 76 for the Beta, and it was so bad, I perhaps played a few hours total of 76.
I feel hopeful for StarField. There are however, only so many ways to do factions, rep, and quests.
Have you ever played any of the Wasteland series? The OG team from Fallout 1 created those. Great story & world, even as a top down turn based game.
the wasteland games are fantastic, im a huge fallout 2 nut personally. Really wish there were more post apocalypse isometric rpgs with rich worlds, i suppose it's only really something people who grew up playing pc games in the 90s and early 00s are wanting haha
