The Video Games Thread

I’ve been a huge Fallout fan since the first top down RTS strategy Fallout 1 back in the 90’s. Even Fallout tactics!!

Sucks they are blocking it on PS, but sucks I haven’t been able to play any Gods of War cause they blocked it on Xbox.

Get the PC version, better mods and community support :)
I’ve been playing Gods of War and am just meh on it. Great storyline so far, buts not as open world as some of the other games I’ve played and liked more. Skyrim and Breath of the Wild are two of my favs when it comes to open world play.

Games like God of War and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor are what i would call Open area games, they're not strictly open world but they flow from one area to another in semi open space, it's interesting but not as fun as a fully open world game imho

Good seeing yah again brother, been awhile. :drinks:

Yeah, Bethesda open worlds are a thing all to themselves. I enjoy the freedom they give you. Then to put that into the beauty of space and ability to have physics accurate solar systems, nebula, pulsars, asteroid fields, and then each of the different planets biomes - eagerly awaiting this launch!

So the new one coming out is X Box only?

Just finished Resident Evil Village. Rather enjoyed it, the first RE I’ve finished since RE2 on the original PlayStation!

I got the limited edition when it was released on PS5, but didn’t touch it. Got the Gold Edition when that came out as it allows you to play in third person and I much prefer third person to first person games. Or the over the shoulder perspective of 4 for that matter.

Already had VII on PS4 and 4 Remake on PS5 so bought 5 and 6 on PS4 to play through the series (I have them on PS3 but can’t be bothered to dig them out of storage). Might pick up the RE3 remake - I played a fair bit of it on PS1 but didn’t finish.

Starfield is crazy good. I’m 20 hours in and I do t know if I’ll ever play another game again😂😂😂 Wow. Color me impressed. It’s ginormous too. My goodness. I dont have words.
same here it's incredible ! the only real gripe is not being able to pilot your ship and fly around planets in atmosphere but i suppose that's a limitation of the creation engine.

Totally a limitation of the creation engine. No Mans Sky is fun but gets boring after a while. Also I have no problem with the lack of details in the city maps. All you have to do is turn your scanner on and there a waypoint on the ground to follow to your objective. Just got to Neon and I’ll be there for quite some time me thinks. Hehe

I into Starfield on my Xbox one. Said it's sweet but it's not working time to "upgrade" just opened up my nex Xbox series X with diablo. There's no input hdmi for my cable TV. Wtf is up with that! They decided to go backwards with the integration part. This really kinda sucks. Starfield better run like butter?
