Transformers was a great one because there is a cult-like fanbase.

Now, release a Star Wars pair when they re-release the movies in 3D and you wouldn't be able to keep them on the shelves.

ROFL never happen...Lucas is legendary for wanting way to big a cut of merchandise profits...goes back to the luck (or genius) of retaining 100% of merchandise profits when he sold rights to the first film. I do agree with you though, although the company needs to build these in other frames and allow lens customization.
