Valve 1.0 clear surprise

The Valve 1.0 Ducati lugs I stripped were a chalky white underneath if memory serves. Think I have a photo of them on my Mad Labs thread somewhere.

Do you know which ones are clear or is it just luck of the draw?

I believe all the silver FMJ ones are.

My O-Teammate @Lopaka KaMars knows far better than I. So far, my experience is fully aligned with his…except for that chalky white Ducati lug set…but I don’t know if he ever committed the sacrilegious act that I did by trying to clear a pair

I've had all sorts of beaters and am pretty sure no Valve1.0 frame is clear. Only the lugs that have the silver FMJ. All dark gray valve lugs are painted and are NOT clear.

Reason I'm asking is because I just scored a rather beat up pair for cheap off of eBay and thought about attempting some custom work myself.
