He’s wearing it above his wrist bone, I think. Some people prefer that but personally I think it limits mobility and jams the crown guard into your wrist.

New watch. Still not sure if I like it. It feels cheap but I keep reminding myself it's made from titanium. My other titanium watch has more of a premium feeling.

I think he has quite a prominent wrist bone, which exaggerates it. But I always wear a watch either over my wrist bone or ahead of it (i.e. closer to my hand) - to my mind it looks weird behind the bone on the forearm. Relatively few watches have crown guards and I’ve never had an issue with the crown or pushers digging in uncomfortably. Different strokes for different folks!
