Watches (other than Oakley) You're Wearing Today

I've seen this pop up on my fb newsfeed so many times
I haven't heard one bad thing about the Reissues, so I took the bait, and I'm still amazed at how nice the watch is.

I like the Speedmaster style, but after a $700 repair job from Omega, I was done with the moon watch. This definitely scratches that itch.

What $700 repair job? How much do they charge for servicing? This is my first time owning an Omega

I used to have the sapphire sandwich. My old roommate's cat knocked the watch off my nightstand and it broke the winding mechanism. It had to be sent to Omega, cost $700 to repair, and took over 2 months.
I still have my '95 quartz Seamaster (GoldenEye model) that I'll never get rid of, but I haven't serviced that one yet because I haven't had any issues other than replacing the battery.
