Watches (other than Oakley) You're Wearing Today

The 45mm? Too big for my taste too, even though I have large wrists. They’re going to launch the smaller one with a meteorite dial and titanium case though, that could be nice. Despite the interesting stuff like the Accutron, I’ve never really personally wanted a Bulova though.
Titanium limited edition inbound. I'll definitely share when it gets here.

Yes, it was the 45mm that we purchased. I’ve not seen the smaller of the two in person. I can’t remember off hand the size, maybe a 42mm? I would definitely be interested in seeing it in titanium and with a meteorite dial. I’ve never been crazy over Bulovas either, but I think they did do an amazing job with the lunar pilot. and if you can catch it on sale, you can get a killer deal on it. I think we got it off Amazon in August for like $325 with tax…keep in mind this was the strap, not the bracelet version. I’m definitely gonna need to find some info on the meteorite dial lunar pilot. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, other than the size, the reviews are phenomenal. I'm in the same boat as well; Bulova would never have been on my radar, but this one is an exception due to it's historical significance.
I'm excited. However, I WISH the one I ordered was only $325, lol 😵‍💫

I may end up with one if I can find a good deal on the smaller version. I just finished looking them up and the meteorite dial is nice! Can’t wait to see your photos when it arrives. There are a handful of Bulovas that do catch my attention, but the Lunar Pilot is probably my favorite…followed by the Oceanographer / “devil diver”, then finally the vintage Accutron Spaceview models.

The vintage and especially new Spaceviews are insane. I love them. I personally don't feel I have the jewels to pull one off confidently, but I definitely admire them.

As a Heuer fan (note the absence of “TAG” there), I’m biased but I think the nicest Bulova I’ve seen was a rebadged Heuer Autavia with Cal 15.

Great case shape. Reminds me of the Mark IV.

Lugs aside, very much so. The Autavia case in that style dates from 1969 so a bit earlier than the Mark IV. The second gen Carrera’s case is similar but without the bezel (which is one of my gripes with a lot of the current TH Carreras, they should never have an external bezel).

I’m sure you can pull it off. The vintage Spaceviews will look like a women’s watch on me, but I’m gonna rock the crap out of one when I find the one I want. Can’t have a vintage one without the old flex band that rips all your arm hair out! 😜
