Watches Other Than Oakley

Picked up the recent no-date SMP 300.

The particular design changes on this variant were right up my alley.

Those Triax models were the first watches that I really wanted. To this day I think they're of the most attractive digital sports watches ever. I have a metallic red 300 and an armored SS model. I gotta get my my batteries changed on both.
I'd love to see a picture of your armored model. I had the Triax Armored Chronograph (Ref. WR0067), but I recently sold it. This is what it looked liked:

Mine is a digital variant that had a bit of a weird way to tell time.
Dad got it for me after like a year straight of gawking at main line. I didn't even know this one existed, and weirdly, I (8-9 years old) was a bit pooped I didn't get either the gold or red more-regular model at first. Of course in due time I came around to realizing what I had.

I believe I had the band adjusted once in HS and thankfully stayed the same size ever since.

Triax Linear! Thing is sweet. These are listed at high prices on eBay, but most recent sales are $500-600. They're becoming more rare each year.

Got the OEM 5-link bracelet for the Seamaster.

The original mesh bracelet had some aesthetic merit, but always came with some discomfort for me because of that clasp section.

So much better now. Also feels like a more proper tool watch as I intend it to be.
