I'm not sure if they have been mentioned, as I haven't read he whole thread but I'm a massive fan of Seiko automatic divers watches. Particularly the "Monster" models.
They are as tough as old boots, look great and are good value for money.
I have a few now, but have worn the same one offshore for over 10yrs and it's had countless heavy smacks and just keeps ticking.
