I have been here 14 days now today, and got my post count above 15. But I still can't reply or see names in the for sale section. What am I missing here?

Just a guess from me that you need to be a member for 'more' than 14 days.

What is the cost now a days to be a member instantly? If it's really that important you could always splurge and spend the small amount of cash.

I've always said to myself that If I really want something and plan to use it then it's ok to spend the cash. Even just to get rid of any annoying adds too. Looks like it worked out for you anyway.
