What Are You Driving ?

I liked the styling of the Evo X but not the engine and the trannys aren't known to hold up well. And completely agree about the seats!! And your dig and roll opinion is dead on as well.
my buddy and I briefly traded cars for the night back in 2005: I gave him my 04 SRT4 and he gave me his 03 EVO

both were running stock turbos, but they were making @ 18psi. aftermarket intakes and 3" downpipes on both cars...

his EVO was lively, for sure...loved driving it...

as we were cruising next to eachother, he LOVED hearing the popping/burbling of the exhaust as he let off the throttle...typical SRT4 noises HAHA !!!!

after driving each other's cars for about 2 or 3 hours, we came back and both said "dude, your car is awesome" and laughed...

I'd love to have an AMS Tuned EVO as a daily...

See, its cars like this that make me mad! Dodge finally gets it, makes a good, turbo'd car and kills it shortly after making it for the pos nitro. This should have stayed around long than it did. Nice example, sir
Even though it had its faults, the Neon SRT4 was a solid and stupidly fast car from 2003-2005...

I would trash mine every single week at car meets and the only problem it ever gave me was when I hydro locked it in a flash flood in the town I lived in...

92,000 miles on the stock clutch...

P.S.
It was the Caliber that replaced the Neon...good car, but far from the beast the Neon was...

That's right! Forgot it was the caliber.

i have one for a daily driver. fun car with a ridiculous 2nd and 3rd gear pull. 285 horse was no slouch stock, but with just Realtune MS1kv2 tune it should be over 300 at the wheels now. funny when you say it is far from the beast the neon SRT4 was, because the Caliber SRT4 is extremely similar to the evo just in FWD form. it uses the same base engine block your EVO does. just different sleeves on the cylinders and some different internals. the "world engine" block the EVO has was actually used by a couple companies in different forms. Caliber SRT4 guys even use EVO valve covers and other parts sometimes.

There was a Chevrolet Spark parked next to me at work this morning (UK Chevys are rebadged Daewoos rather than a US model). I don't normally pay attention to dull anonymous hatches but this one had a feature that leapt out at me.

The dash.

Absolutely shocking, real no expense incurred stuff. That's a photo from the internet by the way, I didn't break in to photograph it...
