What Are You Driving ?

Supposed to rain today so I left the fun stuff at home and drove the work truck. '05 Cayenne TT-S, 550HP/550TQ, factory air ride:

Just had a quick look around this thread and you all have some really nice cars!

I have a thing for Italian vehicles, I currently drive an Alfa Romeo Mito Cloverleaf. 1.4 litre multi-air engine, turbo and produces 170bhp :) It's surprisingly quick and I love it!

I also own a Fiat Grande Punto.

Love the Cayenne. I am trying to talk my wife into getting one......but so far she is not biting. How do you like it? Any problems? Anything I should look out for if looking at a gently used one?

I have 107K miles on mine now. I bought it as a CPO for 1/3 new price with 50K miles- depreciation is my best friend . The early models (04/05) have plastic antifreeze hoses that go bad and get replaced by improved metal ones. There is a "cardan shaft" which is like a driveshaft that goes bad too at about 60-80K miles. This is common on the Cayenne/Touregs apparently. Also coil packs that were replaced under recall since the original design got brittle over time.

Aside from that it has been an absoute tank and shows no signs of giving me a reason to replace despite some really hard driving. Get the turbo though, the base models with the steel suspension have a crappy ride compared to the variable height air ride turbos and you get a lot more bang for the buck with the turbos.

If you really want to make her happy get her one of these:

That would be so awesome if she would take a Cayenne. They look great. Performance of Porsche, with the capabilities of a truck :)

I didn't know the Cayenne's have air ride suspension? very nice man. Got to go with the Turbo, I love that sound of a turbo spooling up.
I can't tell but is that a Audi A8?
