What Are You Driving ?

Tried for a long time to get the wife to agree to me getting one as a daily.

Sadly... The manual trans was the deal breaker for her. Had to wait to get a weekend toy (BMW 1M) to be able to have a manual again.

That 1M is so sweet. Very sought after. Pics??

this is now my daily. The wife was excited to get reacquainted with manual. She hadn’t driven one in a while.

Sure. Mine is in excellent shape. Only has 6530 miles (bought it a year ago with 5300) 😁😁😁

That’s beautiful!!! Congratulations on being able to find one. How does it drive??

Just a tad firm. When I got it it still had the original 2011 Michelins. They showed some cracks (but plenty of tread) so I put a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Made the ride a whole lot better and also improved handling when coming out of turns (tons more grip) which is needed since this one has a bit of a snappy rear.
Other than that I love the damn thing. N54 sounds glorious with the Eisenmann exhaust (though a bit droney). Shifter and clutch setup is near perfect and the hydraulic steering is spot on.
