What Are You Driving ?

*****Downer Post Of The Day*****

One of my old high school buddies, most of his family got killed in a highway accident caused by a rice-burner...

article ??

It was years ago. But I always remember it when I see people zip around in rice-burners. Seems like a number of those enthusiasts are a younger, more reckless group. Not all of them, but it seems like you see a lot less shenanigans from people driving air-breathers...

used to be like that when you could single out a Civic/Accord/Sentra/Eclipse/Del Sol and say "yeah, the driver of that car probably wears a white Monster hat backwards with a UFC shirt, some all white Hijinx and he probably graduated high school within the last 8 months"...

but now, all the 1998-2006 muscle cars are so cheap that even a kid walking into the dealership with a Target shirt on can get a V8 Muscle Car with one of his $900 paycheck....

imagine a 19 year old with a cammed 2002 Camaro SS !?!? death trap......

Welcome to the new age. Between parental sponsorships, no need to take responsibility, dirty money, there's no shortage of ways for kids/people to drive like a tard. To single one group out is tough. Got people never looking up from a text session, drunk, on drugs... Makes the odd exhibition of speed seem not as bad. Around here dodge diesels are the new civic lol

Fortunately, that doesn't seem to happen too often around here... more civics and WVs than I can count... but not many 2000s musscle. And that has me curious... for a cammed LS with bolt ons is no joke.

Had a 406rwhp 98 WS6, followed by a 430rwhp C5.

Sold the c5 and got my new baby...

a GM with a cam is quite the scary beast...

GM's react better to heads/cam/tunes than any other car on the market, by far.....

love me some CTSV action too :)
