Agreed. I took a 2006 Mazdaspeed6 on trade and it sat for a long time before I was able to sell it. Such a shame because it was a fun car to drive with AWD and 274hp from a 2.3L 4 cylinder. It wasn't designed to take the abuse its drivers often dished out and that damn clutch was super heavy. I wish Mazda North America would bring Mazda6 wagon (available with diesel option and 6 speed manual) here but alas, everyone wants a CUV/SUV. VW's diesel problems haven't helped. I also had used Mazda6 wagons sit on the lot for far too long. I sold a number of Mazdaspeed3s and I have a feeling they will be back now that the turbocharged 2.5L 4 was just released in the new 2017 CX-9. I was holding out for a Mazdaspeed2 because it would be like a go-kart for the street but the Mazda2 has been killed in North America and it is now hiding out as a sedan under the Scion iA (US) and Toyota Yaris sedan (Canada) nameplates. I often miss the car business but would never give up the job I have now. I still can't believe they pay me for what I do.Mazda needs to bring back the Speed6. The 3 is too small of a car; the 6 was pretty roomy and comfortable, but the powerplant options were junk.
