Do the Beats really sound good? I've seen so many mixed reviews, I don't know what to believe.

They sound great to my ears. They have a lean toward bass, but I prefer that. I had the urBeats also. Loved the punchiness they delivered.

The ones pictured are the Wireless Beats (this model has Bluetooth built in).
