Id believe that. I have a large distrust towards the government/big business just for that reason. You'll never see a cure for cancer, aids, diabetes, etc.

Yeah I'm not saying whether it should be public or private nor do I want to start up that debate. I'm just saying it should be affordable and accessible to all, through whatever method.

Ya know. A friend of mine said recently he goes "home" to get cured of whatever he has. He knows that here they won't cure you. Here they just keep you alive and on meds for the money. Here they don't approve meds that actually fix your problem. Here they approve meds that fix your symptoms while giving you others. In his country they give medical preference to the younger healthier generation who will live much longer that they fix. When you are really old you end up at the back of the line. There it isn't about the money, it's about fixing your issue and keeping you alive and healthy. Here, it's about what prescription they can write you.

It's really much more his problem than mine but it's still one more stress / drama I have to deal with right now. Add to that some BS going on with one of the projects I'm managing at work, a kid who just got stitches in her forehead, all the prep work (and related Wife drama) with a 2nd kid who could pop out any day (not to mention the fact she almost died with the 1st one), Thanksgiving preparations, a father who just had double knee replacement surgery, and on Sat night I jacked up again the shoulder I dislocated around 5 years ago...

It should be easier to understand why I haven't had much tolerance for some forum newbie egotistical condescending BS drama lately...

I find it interesting how stress works. I used to handle multi-jillion dollar transactions and when something went wrong I was cool as anything, no problem was too big to handle and it was all good.
Then for a little while I used to get stressed out about things I shouldn't have even blinked at......then it suddenly stopped...I don't get stressed anymore for anything at all. I take things as they come and whatever happens will happen. I just know that I always will do what I have to do and just get things done.

Not saying it's the same.....it's just how you manage to deal with it. Just take it one thing at a time.

Affordable and accessible to all would be great but then those big huge corporations won't have that huge profit to drive up their share prices.

I know I do a lot of long posts so I'll save the details this time and get right to the point - I caught The Wife selling some of my old stuff behind my back. Why? Because I hadn't used it in a long time. So f'ing what? That doesn't mean you can't tell me?

I'm still trying to get her to give me the money she got for it. So instead I bought some more Oaks when I said I wouldn't yet lol...

I gave her a read hard time about it. She's one of those who never admits she's wrong and never, ever apologizes. I know I got one of those out of her but not quite sure about the other...

But re: "have to keep her", well, somebody's got to manage my finances...
