"OK thanks I already bought them and I'm gonna ignore all of y'all's combined experience and expertise because I think there's still a chance they're real and I only listen to myself."

Sigh....

I mean, sure, people are free to do what they want. And it's one thing when the question is about something subjective, i.e. "I'm gonna refinish some Juliets; do you like matte black or gloss black better?" or "I'm thinking about one of these two lens colors, which do you like better?" - those are "eye of the beholder" and it should be expected that the OP will go with whichever he likes best, regardless.

But for something objective like "real or fake" or "are the optics on revants as good as OEM?", if you're going to do what you already want to do regardless of the answers you get, why bother asking? You're just wasting peoples' time. And if you make a habit of it, don't be surprised when you ask a new question and nobody bothers to answer you anymore...

I haven't read all 141 pages of this thread, so I'm not sure if this has been posted before or not. One thing that irritates me, is going into an O store or Vault and asking a question about a product, especially a newer one, not some obscure model that only a handful of people know about and having the kid who is just there for a paycheck and the discount have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. Case in point, I went in to look at the new Killswitch. Guy walks over to the watch display, hands me a Gearbox. I said no, that's not it. Then he goes to the Holeshot. Nope! Eventually before he handed me a Minute Machine, I educated him on the model, pricing and color variations. There have been quite a few undereducated folks coming through my local Vault lately. Some great staff, don't get me wrong, but most assuredly could use some education on new product, especially given the loyal and over-informed following that a company like Oakley has built up over the decades.
