What Really Grinds Your Gears?

Oh I agree, no matter the reason or the justification it is simply wrong. That is more or less what I was trying to get at, their is no excuse for this kind of an offense. Its just the general lack of compassion or caring for our fellow man that is so appalling to me, random or not.
You know the saying now.......just can't own anything nice anymore. And if you do, you have to keep your eyes on it all the time, or have it locked up. Unreal. :(

Some guy interupts me and gf at my house yesterday. Rings the doorbell. Wonder who that is (I don't get visitors), start getting up, go to the door, I'm about 3 ft away (the inside door was open, he could see me) and he rings the doorbell again. Wtf? I open the door and he's puffin away at a cigarette. I absolutely hate cigarettes. Told him to get off my porch and my property with the cig, and as he's walking away he asks if I want my yard raked. I ask how much, 20$ for the front yard. It's a 15 minute job bro. Pound sand.

Why would someone think it's ok to just roll up to someone's door smoking? What if I was on oxygen? Idiots.

My brother doesn't play more than five minutes all season (he plays collegiate soccer) in any single game that I go to. Then in the Regional Championship game he plays the entire second half? And I don't make the trip because I figured it wasn't worth the 4 hour drive to not even see him play. Thanks Coach, fantastic logic!

D'oh!

My departed uncle once told me of the time his neighbors complained to the cops about him shooting squirrels with a bb gun in his back yard.

That night he snuck over and spread herbicide all over their tomato garden, killing all the plants.

I always thought that was kinda crass. Especially for a grown man to do...

I've been known to put up a "no solicitors" sign on my front door. The problem is, not everybody understands what a solicitor is, much less that it includes them...

I get up, look out the side window, they see me, I see them. If I know them the door gets opened. If they're children the door gets opened. If they're adults, especially if they have pamphlets or a clipboard I walk away.

I rarely get visitors. So if I'm not expecting a knock on the door, I don't answer. Once, I let someone knock on the door for an hour. They left. Most of the time, I don't hear people knocking on the door...
