What Really Grinds Your Gears?

But it's simple - I still get to review / approve the household budget etc, and I know how to forecast budget and manage a P&L so no shenanigans...

But then she handles all the bill paying, reconciliations, taxes, etc etc. She's a CPA and that's her thing. Gives her a sense of empowerment but at the same time one could say it's a good manager tasking resources to their strengths... ;)

Funny thing my wife is literally a genius.. common sense eludes her sometimes thow. It's irritating to me..

Isnt FMJ about same price as C6?

Aluminum C-6, not even close - retailed for $1.5K, can still be had for around that amount (unless the market's changed behind my back recently).

Carbon C-6, maybe - retailed for $4K but selling for easily twice that now, if you can find one.

FMJ - retailed for $9K; never seen one resold so no idea what CMV is...

Ok how about a hallow point then?

Hollow points retailed for even less - $2K. And they resell for half that, if you're lucky.

Oakley sunglasses have a hefty margin but you're getting more with the components than just the style and the brand for your $$, compared to other brands. IMO Oakley watches have an incredible style but not enough to justify their MSRP, comparing the components to the competition. Notice that used Oakley watches tend to sell for less than MSRP, compared to many of their sunglasses that can sell for as much or often more...

But the TB2, Gearbox Automatic, and FMJ are the sole Oakley watches where the components + style come close to justifying their MSRP. And though the TB2 and GA both have the same quality Swiss ETA movement, the FMJ's movement is much better, top-of-the-line.
