Just came across this, had two put my 2cents in. My first pair, original razor blades matte black orange iridium. Bought in 1988 when I was 17 yrs. old in seaside heights,NJ. Miss them, want them back.

An Oakley Zero 0.4

I found them lying on the side of the road near my house one day in 1995 in mint condition. I wore them daily for 4 years then they dropped off my jeans one day and I ran over them with my car.

Next pair was a Half Jacket with Fire lenses in 2001- wore those for a couple years then I discovered X-Metals and it was all downhill from there lol

Always had Ray-Ban Aviators on my face, since I was a pimple faced kid.
I purchased a New M-frame Strike black iridium with a grey vented Strike lens for road and mountain biking in about 2000.
They are still my go-to riding shades, even though I've since gotten a Radar and a Racing Jacket.
They are light weight, dead simple to clean, BOMB PROOF and easy to swap lenses.
They convinced me that Oakley was the way to go, and 32 following pairs of O haven't changed my mind.
I still have three pair of RBA, but I can't tell ya how deep they are in my underwear drawer...

Mine were M-frames, black with grey sweep lenses. I had a garage sale in 9th grade and sold a ton of g.i. Joes and he-man figures to make enough for them. $90...

Then my older brother lost them 4 years later. Still on the hunt to replace them. It's hard to find the ones with the O logo before the pro and new m-frames came out. 1997-ish...

There are so many cool stories on this thread.
The 2008 summer olympics was what got me hooked. Seeing all of team USA decked out in red white and blue radars was so cool to me. My first pair was blacked out Flak Jacket, a little boring but I still have them and wear them regularly.
