Where Did Your Forum User Name Come From?

Riga Mortis is my psn gamer tag that I've used in a few other forums as well because using bawbag seems to offend people

My parents originally came from Malaysia.

"Cacat" comes from a derogatory term my sister-in-law gave me when I made her cry.

She had come to visit her sister (my wife) and I, in Australia and while I was in the lounge, I thought it would be quite funny to chuck a pair of boxer shorts at her head.

I executed a frisbee motion, and to her (and my) great surprise, it crossed my lounge room and landed perfectly on top of her head like a hat and covered her eyes. In fact she did not even move her head to get out the way for some unbeknown reason.

I wish I had filmed it. It was quite amazing.

She promptly burst into tears and screamed at the top of her voice, "You're so 'cacat'!!!"

In Malay, it means "handicapped" or "spastic".

I wish that was the worst thing I ever did to a relative....

Needless to say, the name stuck.

Mine was Wavecloud Productions originally and it was my name for a few surf movies I made with friends in the early days of digital video and youtube.
Sold a few on ebay.

Then that name has just stayed with me - Wavecloud Swim School and now Wavecloud Customs as well
