This is just the new reality for Oakley fans. Etching on lenses, serial numbers on frames, coating on frames and all that aren’t copyrighted or trademarked so those with motivation are figuring out how to copy it, and finding it’s actually pretty easy to do.....even polycarbonate lenses with tapered and other attributes now are out there since some patents are running out.

There are already a lot of fake stuff out there in collector hands that were represented as real, but it will be even harder and harder to discern the real from the fake moving forward.
