Cheers brother. Scary drilling the head off as never done it before. Wish there was a tool to make it easy to get out.I’m glad you got it out without damage to the frame.![]()
Drilled the head off and just waggled the arm until I hear what was left of the head crack off. Then levered the t-shock area and managed to get the arm lug over the threaded bit. Used pliers to turn the threaded part out. Nightmare of a job Jon.Well done Mike!

Yes Jon but, I used my DeWalt drill. Next time I buy a frame and the heads are gone it's going back to the seller. Me frigging fingers are wringing m8 lol.Sounds like a fiddly *** arse job mate!

I assume you have a Dremel Type tool?
I don't think it's over tightening I think it's they corrode in place.
