X-metals are polished, plasma, titanium so already have multiple finishes and as one with a couple of anodized as well as a Crystal Black beauty of a Romeo1 I think the durability is more the factor. I' love customization of all Oakleys and have probably 10 different Straight and Split Jackets from Rick58 that are constant wear pairs.

I was a toolmaker, and CNC machinist for over 30 years. I know how difficult titanium is to work with.
