What about metal rubber, iridum screws, and serialized lenses?

Just my opinion.
X metals are industrial. They are machined from titanium, a difficult metal to work with.
The frames should pay homage to this, and not be changed.
If you change the colour, you walk away from this ethos.
What do you think?
More respect to salvage for a custom than scrap.I customize X-Metal frames that are in need of help, and will conscientiously avoid stripping down a nice frame. That’s why most of my pairs are still the original finish. I bought a lot of beaters, which is why I have so many customized frames.

That’s why I do bothI think customization is awesome, especially the people who can restore a beat up frame to like new condition. I also understand why a purist wouldn’t even think of altering an OEM pair.
Stick with purple. Black would look good togold or 24k? I was considering 24k in the past but I really like how the purple on the frame almost bleeds into the purple on the edge of the lens with the right angle.
