As for the lenses, I think it would look cool, but don't know if it's worth it to risk messing with the original lenses. If your planning on wearing these regularly and have no intentions of selling then I would say go for it

If you're going to mess with the original lenses, then make sure to mess well. As demonstrated superbly by @CarGuy with ice here:
it is impossible to get one now without paying top dollars. They severely OVERPRICED.
