i found another pair of oakleys for .50. these are pretty cool but i don't know what model. the lenses need to be polished because of bad scratches. what's the best way to do that?

cannot polish lenses if you want to wear them. they are just replaced with new/better ones. the lenses just pop out of the frame.

After you tackle this conundrum see if you can finish up that internal combustion engine that runs on water. Or turn lead into gold.
Or in other words, you can't. The lenses are typically coated with a coating called Iridium. When they are scratched you can't replace that coating nor polish it down to the base tint under the Iridium.
For the purchase price you should be able to fund a replacement lens purchase if you want to rock those hot frames...

buff it with a solvent. i think a member here did that to some frames and it worked out pretty well. let us know how that works out.
