Than I'll bung the lenses in the fridge! As always, thanks mate.Paul, I’d try using Matte clear coat ( several applications ), allow to thoroughly dry a few days.
Here’s the important trick … freeze the lenses before attempting to insert. They contract just enough to make the job easier.

Thank you, @oakky, the secret to good effect, are the little 'bits' in the paint.This makes me want to get a tetanus shot after looking at these. As someone said earlier, some protective clear coat would help out.
Nice idea, however, I already have a pair for these. The colour, you're going to have to wait and see.........but a clue: my LOVE for this colour is renowned........!What kind of lenses are you going to put in them? They look like they were found at the bottom of the ocean, so how about a sapphire prizm?
