Photochromic Lenses?

What are your thoughts on these. Have achance to pick up an Echelon Jawbone with the VR50 Ruby Iridium photochromic lenses. Opnions seem really conflicting on them. Anybody here use them regularly?

I really like my persimmon to black photochromics for mountain biking. They almost always seem to be just right whatever the weather does and your never aware of them changing really.

Not a good idea as a driving lens though as the car windows filter UV meaning they will always be in their lightest form.

Got that, meant thanks for the info after reading those I decided to rather not get the photochromic lenses as I drive quite a bit during the day
