Ebay is over priced because many people are forced to charge more because of fees, shipping, 1099k, Paypal, insurance, and everything that's associated with selling.
I would say this is the choice of the seller and not they are "forced" to charge higher prices. That's the nice thing about the free market though, people can charge whatever they like and it's going to either sell or not sell. I've seen some Kozik Hijinx for $1400 on ebay for a while now. If a buyer see's the value of a "deal" the item sells, if not, it sits.
Like most people, i'm always looking for a deal and will scoop one up if I can. I prefer not to pay more than retail for an item and there are very few things in the world I'd do so for. I understand FGG comment about selling here though because yeah, we're looking for a deal. He was able to scoop up quite a bit more on some watches through ebay than he could on the forum. I hardly sell on here either since I know I can always fetch more on the ebay market, even with fees. Prices go up and down, it's just a matter of buying when they're down and selling when they're up.
And with that post you lost all your credibility.
Saying that no one knows more about Oakleys than he does. There is always someone else stronger, faster, more intelligent, and more knowledgeable. Only a fool thinks otherwise.
I guarentee there are people on here that know far more about Oakleys than you or I ever will.
alcapon1 said:One of a kind items are very difficult to price for collectors and there is a much smaller market as the price goes up. 1400$ for a one of a kind pair of Koziks or any super rare Oakley item is alot, that's just the nature of an item like that.
