Purchases a set of used Radarlocks, FAKE?

Yes some of the fakes have the switchlock mechanism. I've seen a few in person and many on eBay.

I didnt even catch that...we have a guy in our office who says TWSS to almost anything.

Well I suppose I will look into getting some replacement ear socks cuz these look horrendous.
Is the Icon replaceable?

Yes BUT It's not a "wear" item like the earsocks, nose piece or swappable at will like lenses. And they're not sold officially on their own. You'll need to either cannibalize them from another pair, beg (heavily) to an O store employee, or go through the Exchange here or eBay. And they're usually priced high for what they are ($10-15 a set )

But it is easy to replace. A needle or X-acto knife can be used to lift it and swap it for another. There are several threads here on removing (and reapplying) icons

Oh ok, swapping out the Icon isnt that big of a deal to me. I was just wondering.
