I have two albums of my son on my fone. One is the keepers and one for "outtakes." She deleted most of the outtakes.

Isn't there a recover option now for the deleted photos?

I know iPhones have a deleted photos folder where they go for a bunch of days before they are gone forever.

Google does allow users to backup photo to its cloud. I don't, but the option is there, Frank.
