Why woulnt you do that as you go instead dealing with a mess like that?

The guy I replaced here installed the green cables. It took the better part of 6 months, but I replaced them with the blue cable. Pull out one cable put in another. Rinse repeat. Everything had to work while I was doing it. I did about a third of that in the last two weeks. It is close to 1,000 cables. I have another 150-200 left and the project is done. But I am out of cable. Oops. I think my boss is going to lend me to the IT department to redo their server racks.
