Well, the Yankees score 14 and sweep the O's; Aaron Judge hits a 495' HR, longest of the season thus far.

Giancarlo Stanton only suffered a bruised wrist on the HBP yesterday. Whew. However, Miami's offense went nowhere today and they split the series against the Pirates with a 3-1 loss.

Rangers sweep the Nats!!!! Scherzer allowed 3 over 7.1 IP and the bullpen fails again. The losing pitcher had 10K and joined the 2,000 strikeout club.

Braves lose a tough one to the Mets; off to DC they go.

Cubs hit 4 HR and cool off the Rockies today.

Giants win the series finale against the Twins 13-8

Angels double up the Astros.

Blue Jays shut out the Mariners.

The D-Backs overwhelmed the Brewers.

Royals take the series from the Padres.

Dodgers win against the Reds; Cardinals, Rays, and Indians win their games

Braves vs Nationals turned into a slug fest. Folty (who was splendid the last few starts) turned in a clunker... 8 runs on 3.1 IP. Strasburg threw his own clunker with 6 runs in 5 IP. Braves belt 5 home runs and win this 11-10.

The power of 6: Mets beat the Cubs 6-1 to win their 4th straight. Red Sox beat the Phillies 6-5 in 11 innings. Rangers win 4 in a row and beat the Astros 6-1

The Orioles lose 5 in a row with its loss to the White Sox.

Mariners sink the Twins 14-3

Pirates kicked the Rocks 7-2

The MLB Draft took place today. The Twins picked first, picking SS Royce Lewis, JSerra Catholic (Calif.) HS

My Braves picked fifth, picking another pitching arm, RHP Kyle Wright, Vanderbilt

After the Braves got doubled up yesterday, they get the gNats back, beating them 13-2. The Braves take 2 of 3 from the Nationals, winning a series against them in DC since 2014. Teheran finally performed like the ace he supposed to be.

The Astros salvaged their series with the Rangers with their own 13-2 score.

Pirates snapped their own winning streak with a loss against the Rockies.

Mariners get some pride with a 6-4 win against the Twins after the 20-7 shellacking they took yesterday.

D-backs beat the Tigers 2-1

After the Dodgers Kershawed the Indians (first time Kershaw beat the Tribe) yesterday, they beat them again 6-4. Kluber is the fastest Indians pitcher to get to 1,000 strickeouts. LA has won 6 in a row.

Mets, Blue Jays, Red Sox, Royals, and Marlins all win today.

KC/SF, OAK/MIA, TB/TOR all had 8-1 scores yesterday with both Florida teams and KC winners.

Yasiel Puig suspended one game, fined by MLB for obscene gesture; Dodgers outfielder says he will appeal
Puig was heckled by the Indians fans and he made some obscene gestures.

Yankees lose 5 in a row, primarily due to the bullpen. OOPS.

Braves were shut out 5-0 Friday, but they won a see saw affair against the Marlins 8-7 in extra innings. Brandon Phillips walked it off!

Rays beat the Tigers 3-2

Padres beat the Brewers 7-5 in 11.

Nats needed a road trip; they are rolling over the Mets after their 2-5 homestand.

The Astros knocked Porcello and the Red Sox around.

Usually, when the pitcher hits a home run, his team wins... Not the Cubs. Arrieta his a HR but the Pirates hang on and beat the Cubs 4-3.

Wainwright was wrong for the Cardinals, allowing 9 runs over 1.2 innings pitched. OUCH. The Orioles danced all over the Cards 15-7

The Reds have lost 8 in a row. The Dodgers beat them today.

The NL West has 3 streaking teams: The D-Backs win 6 in a row. The Rockies are winners of 4 in a row. The Giants have lost 5 in a row.

The Indians sweep the Twins doubleheader; Cleveland has won 4 in a row.

The Royals were shut out 9-0 in Anaheim.

Marlins deploy a 5 man infield against Brandon Phillips. Phillips delivers the walk off single anyway. Braves win 5-4.

Rays slayed the Tigers again. Mallex Smith has been on fire for the Rays, happy for him.

Mets salvage the series finale against the Nats.

Reds lose their ninth in a row.

Blue Jays beat the White Sox.

One thing that irks me about these local sports channels is that they don't show all the games they could show. I know that isn't always possible (like when a national feed takes over) but the Marlins and Rays seem to be bad with this. For instance, they skip some of those day games that follow a night game... The thing that irked me is that they are skipping the Wednesday afternoon game AT HOME and they resume broadcast when the Cubs come to Miami. Ummmm

I'm just happy that they make it a point to show all the Braves/Marlins matchups that they can.
